General comments about assignments
Often students do not follow the formatting instructions, specifically using 1" margins.  Also, when using Word or any other word processor, you need to learn about using section breaks so that your page numbers do not start on the title page!  Title pages are not numbered, and the first page after the title page is numbered as 1.  You do not need page numbers if you only have one page after a title page, but if you have more than one page of text, title pages are necessary.  Also, when doing a title page, make sure that the text is centered VERTICALLY as well as HORIZONTALLY.  Lots of people didn't set their margins at 1", instead using as much as a 2" margin!  Finally, be sure to staple your pages together so they don't get lost.  For info on section breaks, check out this page.  Click for info on vertical centering.  Click for info on setting margins.

Assignment One - Assigned on Thursday, January 11 and due no later than midnight on Saturday, January 13. 

Assignment Two - Assigned on Thursday, January 18 and due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, January 23.

Assignment Three - Assigned on Thursday, January 25 and due no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, January 31. NEW DUE DATE!  Since Tweetie is now on the list of known mailers, I want you to test the email parts of the assignment out on yourself, that way you can see that they work.  The NEW DUE DATE IS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND AT 4:30PM.

Assignment Four - Assigned on Thursday, February 22nd and due no later than 4:30pm on Friday, March 2nd. 

Assignment Five - Assigned on Thursday, March 15th and due at the beginning of class on Tuesday, March 20th.  There is no link for this assignment as it is a form that you fill out, detailing the network configuration of your personal computer.

Assignment Six - Assigned on Thursday, March 29th and due no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, April 5.

Assignment Seven - Assigned on Thursday, April 19th and due no later than 4:30pm on Thursday, April 27th.
