From: Sean Kelly <smkelly@creighton.edu>

In our continued efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of CU information systems and bring updated service to the Creighton Community, please note the following outage:

What: Addition of two new e-mail servers.

When: Tuesday, September 25, 2007 7:00AM (Outside standard maintenance window)

Why: Eliminate mail delays due to the previous server being over processing capacity.

Systems affected: Email, Bluejay, Exchange, Postini, ZixVPM

During this maintenance, we will be bringing two new mail servers (mx1 and mx2) online to replace the mail functionality currently handled by the Bluejay server.

Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns about this production maintenance, please contact DoIT Service Desk at 280-1111.
