General comments about assignments
Often students do not follow the formatting instructions, specifically using
1" margins. Also, when using Word or any other word processor, you
need to learn about using section breaks so that your page numbers do not start
on the title page! Title pages are not
numbered, and the first page after the title page is numbered as 1. You do
not need page numbers if you only have one page after a title page, but if you
have more than one page of text, title pages are necessary. Also, when
doing a title page, make sure that the text is centered VERTICALLY as well as
HORIZONTALLY. Lots of people didn't set their margins at 1", instead
using as much as a 2" margin! Finally, be sure
to staple your pages together so they don't get lost. For info on section

Assignment One - Handed out on Tuesday, September 5 and due no later than
6:30 on Friday, September 8.

Assignment Three - An in-class assignment. You must be in class on Thursday, October 5th in order to complete this assignment. There is no make-up for this assignment if you are not in class.
Assignment Four - The assignment is worth 50 points and is due by 4:30pm on
Tuesday, November 7, 2006.
Assignment clarification: If your name is not available, be sure to
find a variation of your name that is available (such as
firstnamemiddlenamelastname.com or some variation).
Assignment Five - An in-class assignment. You must be in class on Tuesday, November 7th in order to complete this assignment. There is no make-up for this assignment if you are not in class.
